Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) also known as 2019-nCov, 2019 Novel Coronavirus is a widespread disease caused by a new virus that had not been formally singled out in humans.
The virus causes respiratory illness (like flu) with symptoms such as cough, fever and in more severe cases, pneumonia.
You can safeguard yourself by washing your hands continually and avoiding touching your face.
HOW IT SPREAD.
The new Coronavirus spread primarily through contact with the infected person when he/she coughs, sneezes or through droplets of saliva or discharges from the nose.
2019- nCov is distinguished by mild symptoms including a runny nose, sore throat, cough, and fever. Illness can be more severe for some people and can lead to Pneumonia or difficulty in breathing.
Older people and people with other medical conditions (such as Asthma, diabetes or heart diseases) may be vulnerable to becoming severely ill.
People may experience

- sore throat
There is currently no vaccine to prevent Coronavirus disease (COVID – 19).
You can reduce your risk of infection if you;
1. Wash hand frequently with alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water.
2. Cover nose and mouth when coughing and sneezing with tissue/ flexed elbow.
3. Avoid close contact (1 meter or 3 feet) with anyone with cold or flu-like symptoms.
There is no distinct medicine to curb or treat Coronavirus (COVID-19).
People may need substantiating care to help them breathe.
